YAZOO CITY — Mary Marguerite Hart Thomas died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at King’s Daughters Hospital. She was 72.

Mrs. Thomas was born in Sataria. She was a former school teacher.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Isham Thomas; and her parents, James Newell “Sonny” and Mary Lewis Hart.

Survivors include her brother, Irma Newell Hart of Yazoo City; other relatives and friends including John Thomas Lynch.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Stricklin-King Funeral Home with the Revs. George Butler and Andrew Brown. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.

Pallbearers will be John McInnis, James Cresswell, Lewis Davis, Charlie Lungren, John Michael Pillow and Tracy Burrough.
