Robert Earl Shelby died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010 at his home. He was 58.

Mr. Shelby was a 1970 graduate of Rosa A. Temple High School and was retired from A&P Foods. He was a member of Mount Calvary M.B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Louise Shelby; a brother, Robert Lee Henderson; and a sister, Barbara Collins.

Survivors include one son, Curtis Parker of Vicksburg; two daughters, Yvonne Shelby and Gwen Shelby Littleton, both of Vicksburg; two brothers, Willian Earl Shelby and John L. Shelby, both of Vicksburg; two sisters, Dorothy Marie Shelby of Vicksburg, and Ruby L. Chandler of Kankakee, Ill., five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
