Holiday events on the calendar:

V105.5 Christmas Caroling Contest

The contest is back for the sixth year, and will be at the Vicksburg Convention Center. Preliminaries are set for 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Finals will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $5 for each day of the competition, and children 12 and younger get in free. Call 601-883-0848 or visit www.vccmeet.com.
