The Vicksburg Fire Department will install free smoke alarms in owner-occupied single-family dwellings of low-income families, senior citizens, families with children younger than 14 and people with disabilities.

The program is part of the State Fire Marshal’s free smoke alarm installation program which is funded by a grant from Homeland Security.

To request a smoke alarm, city residents may call Central Fire Station at 601-634-4566 or 601-636-1603. County residents may contact Kelly Worthy, Warren County fire coordinator at 601-634-8073.
