Two wrecks in city injure five people

Two car wrecks Wednesday sent five people to River Region Medical Center.
In the first, in the 2000 block of Clay Street just after 6 p.m., Dinesha Thomas, 22, 1900 Baldwin Ferry Road, was treated and released.
At 11 p.m., a two-car wreck on U.S. 61 South and Cain Ridge Road sent four people to the medical center, where all were treated and released.
They were James Washington, 57, 4715 Benard Drive; and Stephene Jackson, 37, Rondell Galvin, 20, and Kentavius Jackson, 10, all of 209 Overlook Drive a hospital spokesman said.
