Claire Mims had 23 points, seven rebounds and six steals to lead Porters Chapel (1-5, 1-3) to its first win of the season.

PCA took advantage of Park Place’s poor shooting in the second half to pull away. PCA started the second half with a 6-0 spurt and led 30-22 with 4:34 to play.

Park Place went 7-for-13 from the field in the first half, but was just 3-for-14 in the second. The Lady Crusaders also committed 24 turnovers in the game.

Kristyn Gentry led Park Place with 13 points and eight rebounds.
