Tallulah Academy crushed visiting Franklin Academy on Thuesday 56-19. Allie Kate Gossett scored a game-high 18 points and Megan Givens added 16 for the Lady Trojans (9-3), who will play Friday at St. Aloysius.

In the boys’ game, the Trojans mounted a furious rally, trailing eight going into the third, but fell short in a 54-50 loss. Jake Busby scored 18 points and Cody Petty added 15 for Tallulah (3-5).
