Judith McCammon

Judith “Judy” McCammon died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at her residence. She was 58.

Born in St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. McCammon had been a Vicksburg resident most of her life. She was the daughter of Homer J. Hall and Claudette Tillman Hall.

She was a former cook with Mister C’s Restaurant, Super Junior and Park Inn. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jessie Boleware; and two brothers, Jerry Hall and Charles Hall.

She is survived by her husband, Linnis “Laney” McCammon of Vicksburg; a sister, Barbara White of Neelyville, Mo.; and other relatives, including Betty Bullock and Kody and Kaleb Britt.

A celebration of life service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Riles Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Winkler, pastor of Refuge Church, officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Collums Cemetery in Bruce. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Friday until the service.
