MDA seeks start-ups for pilot program

The deadline to enroll in a pilot program that aims to match potential entrepreneurs with some of Mississippi’s most economically depressed areas has been extended.
The Mississippi Development Authority’s Entrepreneur Training Program can take 100 participants; 50 have signed up. The deadline is Friday.
The program is open to businesses and entrepreneurs in Coahoma, Holmes, Humphreys, Quitman, Sunflower, Tunica, Yazoo, Alcorn, Benton, Marshall, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo, Claiborne, Copiah, Franklin, Jefferson, Walthall and Wilkinson counties. Visit entrepreneurcenter.mississippi.org.
