Employees of Lane Line of Flowood place lines and arrows between DiamondJacks Casino and Lee Street Wednesday in preparation for today’s access road opening for vehicles to have a shorter detour around construction of a new bridge over rail tracks on Washington Street. The bridge, part of the main north-south corridor connecting Interstate 20 to downtown Vicksburg, was closed in January 2009 and demolished in August. Completion of the road-topped tunnel over the tracks is expected in April.
