Agnes Wardean Nevels

Agnes Wardean Nevels died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at Covenant Health and Rehab of Vicksburg. She was 77.

Mrs. Nevels owned Aunt Dean’s Hot Tamales for years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Nevels; a sister, Mattie Rebecca Barnes; and a brother, Bobby Bluite Edwards.

Survivors include two brothers, James Edwards and J.C. Edwards.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Pentecostal Church with Pastors Don Tipton and John Parks officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the church from 1 p.m. Saturday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Edwards, Raymond Edwards, Nick Cloy, William Day, Jesse Cloy, Jamie Acuff and Michael Paul Sanderford.
