A Vicksburg woman arrested Monday was charged with embezzlement, Vicksburg police Sgt. Sandra Williams said.

Angela A. Williams, 38, 127 Redhawk Road, is accused of taking a deposit bag containing an undisclosed amount of money on Dec. 14 from Church’s Chicken Restaurant in the 1300 block of Clay Street, Sgt. Williams said. Williams was arrested on a warrant at the restaurant early Monday morning.

Williams was released from the Warren County Jail after posting a $2,500 bond.
