Marshall was PCA’s playmaker

Whether he played at a big school, or a small one like Porters Chapel Academy, Chris Marshall has loved football.

The game was good to Marshall in 2010. He set a single-game school record for catches and yardage against Prentiss Christian with 10 receptions for 203 yards. He was a factor — both as a game-breaking wide receiver with over 1,000 yards and as a ball-hawking cornerback with six interceptions — on both sides of the ball.

For his efforts, Marshall is the Vicksburg Post’s Offensive Player of the Year.

Marshall said his love for the game helped propel his production.
