Michael and Evelyn Weaver of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Marie, to Drew Lamar Warnock. Mr. Warnock is the son of Tony and Nancy Warnock of Vicksburg.

Miss Weaver is the granddaughter of Frank and Anna Weaver and Delores Coomes and the late William Coomes, all of Vicksburg.

Mr. Warnock is the grandson of Beatrice Warnock and the late Willie Warnock and Rosa LeMay and the late John H. LeMay, all of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Warren Central High School, where she was a varsity football cheerleader. She was a member of the Vicksburg Cotillion Club and Sub-Debs.

She received an associate’s degree from Hinds Community College.

Miss Weaver is an office administrative assistant at Engineer Research and Development Center.

The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Warren Central High School, where he was a member of the Beta Club and played varsity baseball.

He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in banking and finance from Mississippi State University.

Mr. Warnock is employed at Engineer Research and Development Center.

The wedding will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 5, 2011, at St. Michael Catholic Church. A reception will follow at the Vicksburg Country Club.
