PIONEER, La. — Mary Anne Kennedy Hooper passed away on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at the home of her sister in Baton Rouge.

She was a native of Vicksburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James D. Kennedy, Jr. and Anne Jones Kennedy.

She is survived by her husband, R.L. Hooper; son, Joey Poche’; grandchildren Katelynn and Kaden Poche’, all of Pioneer; two sisters and their husbands, Lynda and Raymond Vince and Davie and Bill Ashby, all of Baton Rouge.

Memorial visitation will be from noon until 1 p.m. Saturday at St. George Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, followed by Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by the Rev. Mike Schatzle.

Greenoaks Funeral Home in Baton Rouge is in charge of arrangements.
