MARKS — Services for Arthur Vaughn Jr. will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Vaughn died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at Quitman County Hospital. He was 83.

He was a former resident of Vicksburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Della Lacey and Arthur Vaughn Sr.; two brothers, Harry D. Williams and Joe Roy Vaughn; and one sister, Willie B. Champs.

Survivors include one sister, Levertia Harris of Chicago; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, including Verdell Edwards of Vicksburg.
