Services for Lemoyne Davis will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cool Springs M.B. Church with the Rev. Robert L. Miller Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mr. Davis died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. He was 64.

He graduated from Rosa. A. Temple High School in 1964 and attended Utica Junior College. He was a retired plumber from Waterways Experiment Station and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a military policeman during the Vietnam War. He also served in Germany for three years.
