Emergency workers roll Brandy Bergeron, 35, 605 Cain Ridge Road, away from the 2007 Saturn Ion she had been driving before a crash at U.S. 61 South and Iowa Boulevard just before 5:30 Tuesday evening. The Saturn and a 1997 Mercedes E320 driven by Gustavo Prieto, 23, 5900 U.S. 61 South, collided as Bergeron attempted to make a left turn off 61 onto Iowa, said Vicksburg police officer Bobby Jones. Prieto was southbound on the highway. Bergeron was treated and released from River Region Medical Center a hospital spokesman said. Her passenger, husband Edwin Bergeron, 46, and Prieto were not injured.
