Gage tapped to serve on national board

A Vicksburg bank executive has been asked to serve on a national education board.
Hal Gage of Vicksburg is on the National Association of State Boards of Education’s Finance Committee.
Gage, a member of the Mississippi State Board of Education, will participate in a yearlong series of meetings to analyze federal education initiatives, promote priorities and serve as an education resource.
He has been chairman of RiverHills Bank in Vicksburg since 2000.
