Monica M. Carroll of Vicksburg and Jason Johnson of Glen Allan will be married at 1 p.m. Feb. 11, 2011, at Standfield New Life Christian Church, 1404 Lane St. A reception will be from 2 until 7 p.m. Feb. 12 at the American Legion Post 213, 1618 Main St. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Carroll is the daughter of Odell and Mary Carroll Miller of Vicksburg and the late Q.C. Hedrick of Pattison. She is the granddaughter of the late Ben and Susie Carroll of the Blue Hill community.

Mr. Johnson is the son of Charlie and Lillian Marie Johnson of Glen Allan. He is the grandson of the late Alex and Kate Johnson of Glen Allan.

The bride-elect is a 1991 graduate of Jefferson County High School and was named Miss Fayette. She attended Virginia College, where she was named to the all-A honor roll, and is a certified medical assistant.

Miss Carroll is employed at United Cleaners.

The prospective groom is an operator for J.E. McCool Trucking.
