Davis re-enactment set at Court House
The Old Court House Museum will present on Saturday a program called A Journey Begins, a re-enactment of Jefferson Davis’ speech in Vicksburg before he left to serve as president of the Confederate States of America.
The event will be at 2 p.m. at the museum on Cherry Street and will feature Civil War era music by Bridging the Gap.
Jack Burns, a member of the Westside Theatre Foundation, will play Davis. Call 601-636-0741.
