St. Aloysius’ season ended in a flurry of missed shots and turnovers Monday night.

The Lady Flashes shot 30 percent from the field and committed 10 of their 33 turnovers in the fourth quarter, a performance that led to a first-round division tournament loss to Cathedral.

“We have young players. It’s just going to come from experience,” said junior guard Ashtin Giambrone, who finished with five rebounds and six steals. “Coach (Alisa) Scott is going to help us this summer. The program is building. Next year, hopefully we’ll make it out of district.”
