All season long, the path to the Division 4-6A championship has led to Vicksburg. If things go right, the road to a state title will travel through it as well.

The Vicksburg Gators open the division tournament on their home floor tonight when they host crosstown rival Warren Central. The winner advances to the North State satellite game next week and Vicksburg, which is second in line to Southaven to host the North State tournament, can begin a long and productive postseason stay in The Swamp.

Vicksburg (21-3) went a perfect 6-0 in division play this season. It easily defeated Warren Central (9-15) twice, 76-55 and 63-47, and won its six division games by an average of 20 points.
