CLEARWATER, Fla. — Florence Akers Velchoff, formerly of Vicksburg, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, at Lifepath Hospice in Clearwater, Fla. She was 81.

She is survived by her husband, John R. Velchoff Sr. of Clearwater; a son, John R. Velchoff Jr. of Land O’ Lakes, Fla.; and two sisters, Loretta Sanderford of Vicksburg and Edna Robilotta of Clearwater.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Light of Christ Catholic Church in Clearwater.
