Glen Dean Windham

ROLLING FORK — Glen Dean Windham died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at the Sharkey-Issaquena Community Hospital in Rolling Fork. He was 62.

A lifelong resident of Issaquena and Sharkey counties, Glen was a graduate of Rolling Fork High School and also graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in 1972.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearson and Christine Windham, and also a brother, Don Windham. He was a lifelong member of the Whiting Bayou Hunting Club and a member of the Rolling Fork United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jane M. Windham of Rolling Fork; sons, Dr. Byron Pearson Windham of Oxford, Thomas Grey Windham of Rolling Fork and William Jordan Windham of Jackson; sister, Linda Windham Frazier of Kosciusko; brother, Eugene Pearson Windham of Kosciusko; and grandchildren, Byron Pearson Windham Jr., John Colvin Windham and Anna Carlisle Windham.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Rolling Fork United Methodist Church with the Rev. Beth Miller officiating. Interment will follow at the Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.

Active pallbearers will be Steve Windham, Stan Delaney, Paul Hollis, Kevin Corban, Donald Durst, Clark Carter, Jim Newman and Penley Sorrels.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Wade, Kenneth Middleton, Woody May, Jerry Bodie, Ern Black and Chuck Stephenson.
