Benjamin Alexander Sr. died Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. He was 76.

Mr. Alexander retired from LeTourneau with more than 30 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Mae Alexander; his parents, Henry and Daisy Alexander; one sister, Odessa Alexander; and two brothers, Charles Alexander and Sam Alexander.

Survivors include three daughters, Williestene Alexander, Rosie Alexander and Verline Alexander, all of Vicksburg; three sons, Jimmy Alexander, Benjamin Alexander Jr. and Donald Alexander, all of Vicksburg; a brother, Douglas Alexander of Edwards; a sister, Katie Horton of Edwards; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
