Cameras, gun, purse taken from cars

Three car burglaries were reported in the city Tuesday, Vicksburg police Lt. Bobby Stewart said.

• A Nikon digital camera valued at $120 was reported missing at 6:30 a.m. from a 2006 Chevrolet pickup parked in the 1100 block of Harrison Street.

• A purse valued at $40 and a Samsung digital camera valued at $150 were reported missing at 8:30 a.m. from a 2003 Nissan Altima parked in the 4000 block of Warrenton Road.

• A Heritage Arms 22. caliber pistol valued at $200 and a Nikon Coolpix camera valued at $150 were reported missing at 10 a.m. from a 1995 Dodge Ram pickup parked in the 800 block of Harris Street.
