Services for James L. “Jimmy” Bosley will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Green M.B. Church with the Rev. Herman Sylvester officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 7 p.m. Friday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mr. Bosley died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home. He was 96.

He was a graduate of Magnolia School and a long-time employee of O’Neill-McNamara Hardware. He played trumpet and occasional bass for the Red Tops band.

He was a lifelong member of Pleasant Green M.B. Church, where he played baritone as part of the music ministry.
