Bobby Ford Parker

EDWARDS — Bobby Ford Parker died Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at his home in Edwards. He was 69.

Mr. Parker served in the Army as an electrician during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He completed the Military Justice Code of Conduct training and received the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. A hunter, he was a member of the Big Black Hunting Camp.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Parker; and his mother, Audrey Mae Tedder Parker.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Evelyn Parker of Edwards; two sons, Bobby Joe Parker of Edwards and Kenneth Wayne Parker of Vicksburg; two sisters, Barbara Martin of Redwood and Alice Ross of Vicksburg; four brothers, Sidney Parker and Leon Parker, both of Vicksburg, Jerry Parker of Greenville and Floyd Parker of Oklahoma; five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Winkler officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon Saturday until the service.

Pallbearers will be members of the Warren County Sheriff’s Department.
