A Utica woman was treated and released from River Region Medical Center after a three-vehicle wreck at about 3 p.m. Monday in the southbound lane of Mississippi 27 in Hinds County.

Patricia Rohrke, 68, driving a Toyota Camry, was attempting to turn right off the highway just south of the Big Black River when a log truck struck a minivan that had braked as Rohrke turned, said Trooper Kervin Stewart of the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol.

Neither the log truck driver nor anyone inside the minivan was injured, Stewart said. The log truck driver, whom Stewart declined to identify, was cited for following too closely. The truck belongs to Yazoo City-based M&T Logging. Traffic was slowed for about 45 minutes.
