St. George Lebanese Dinner 51st annual event is all about the cabbage roll

For many of the diners who will line up Monday at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church for the annual Lebanese dinner, the most anticipated item on the menu will be the cabbage rolls.
About 11,000 of the hand-rolled treats — plus other classic Lebanese dishes — will be served at the dinner, the 51st the church has staged.
Getting it all done on time means church members must start coring heads of cabbage and wilting leaves Friday morning in preparation for all that rolling and cooking on Saturday.
