Ag man wins $2,500 for Future Farmers

A Vicksburg farmer has won $2,500 for the Vicksburg Warren Future Farmers America chapter.

John W. Bowen III, was the winner of the Farmers Grow Communities program.

Winners are selected at random by a third party.

The America’s Farmers Grow Communities Program is sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, to support farming communities by offering farmers the opportunity to register to win the money for their favorite community charity.

The FFA is a national organization founded in 1928 that helps prepare future farmers for the challenges of feeding a growing population.
