Harold L. and Lois Champion Williamson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Thursday. They were married March 3, 1961, at First United Pentecostal Church, U.S. 61 North in Vicksburg. The Rev. Tom Marshall, uncle of the bride, officiated at the ceremony.

The Williamsons have two children, Steve Williamson and Shelia Burgett; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A celebration is planned for late spring; friends and family will be notified.
