A husband and wife were in the Warren County Jail Friday night charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.
William “Sammy” Foster, 32, and his wife, Rachel Foster, 30, both of 50 Old Pettway Road, were pulled over on Youngton Road near Birdsong Road just after 10 a.m. Friday, Pace said.
The deputy noticed the smell of chemicals coming from the 1978 Ford Bronco, the sheriff said, and, after getting consent, searched the SUV. He found a “shake-and-bake” meth lab, Pace said.
The Fosters were being held without bond pending an initial court hearing.
