Robert M. Richardson died Friday, March 4, 2011, at University of Mississippi Medical Center. He was 78.

Mr. Richardson worked as a machinist at LeTourneau for 32 years. He was a carpenter and worked with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers mat-sinking unit. He was a member of Warrenton Independent Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Richardson; and his parents, Madison Sr. and Ola Lee Richardson.

Survivors include his daughter, Susan Denham of Tupelo; son, Bailey Richardson of Rayville; sister, Frances Richardson Hawley; brother, Joe Richardson Sr.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with Marvin Curtis officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Joe Richardson Jr., Michael Richardson and members of Warrenton Independent Baptist Church.
