PORT GIBSON — Patricia Dotson died Saturday, March 5, 2011, in Port Gibson. She was 35.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria New-some; and a brother, Elton Dotson.

Survivors include her father, Roosevelt Dotson Jr. of Lorman; a son, Leroy Dotson of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Sierra Dotson, Dierra Dotson and Patricia Dotson, all of Oklahoma City; grandparents, Roosevelt Dotson Sr. of Port Gibson and Josephine Smith of Bryant, Texas; brothers, Bobby Dotson, Anthony White and De’Roderick Dotson, all of Port Gibson; sisters, Veronica White and Tracy Robinson, both of Lorman, RoOllie Townsend of Chicago and Raquell Shorter of Fayette; five stepbrothers, Jadarius Hamlin, Melvin Hamlin, Mark White and Toby Claiborne, all of Lorman, and Kelvin White of Port Gibson; a stepsister, Brittney Hamlin of Lorman; and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Awesome Christ Warrior Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Chester Watts officiating. Burial, directed by Thompson Funeral Home, will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until the service Saturday at the church.
