President Barack Obama has now declared that Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi’s behavior is unacceptable. But, the world’s most powerful military has fought a nine year war against a few thousand Afghan insurgents, and many presidents have declared that nuclear weapons in rogue nations are unacceptable, but proliferation continues.

Libya’s unacceptable behavior will likely continue because America no longer has resolve. Our leaders should put up or shut up: when we threaten, mean it; and when we go to war, win.

We frequently pull our gun with no intention to use it.
