Mary Sible McGuffie died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at her residence in Vicksburg. She was 84.

She was a native of D’Lo, Miss., and had lived most of her life in Vicksburg. She was a homemaker and a member of Highland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wilson Roy Mason and C.A. McGuffie.

Survivors include her daughters, Virginia “Jenny” Hoeppel of Vicksburg and Mary Stogner and husband Tim of McComb; and two grandchildren, Chad Hoeppel and wife Rebekah of Madison and Dawn Juelfs and husband Kevin of Franklin, Tenn.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Ivey officiating. Interment will follow at the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be David Pugh, Mickey Simmons, Ronnie Harvey, Bill Hanks and Lee Harvey.
