Services for Alex Washington Sr. will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Vicksburg City Auditorium with the Rev. John Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mr. Washington died Monday, April 4, 2011, at Promise Hospital. He was 85.

He was born in Fayette. He was a retired truck driver for Anderson-Tully Co. and was a member of Jackson Street M.B. Church.
