Fisher Ferry and Culkin volunteer firefighters enter Azalea Place Apartment 37 at 320 Fisher Ferry Road this morning to extinguish a blaze they said originated in the kitchen. Quincy Montgomery said he was alone in the apartment when he heard the crackling of the fire in the kitchen. He said the smoke quickly filled the home. No injuries were reported, and the blaze was contained to the one apartment, said Volunteer Fire Coordinator Kelly Worthy.
