St. Aloysius bombs Riverside in softball, 13-4

St. Aloysius unloaded the frustration of Monday night’s loss to Bogue Chitto with a 13-4 walloping of Riverside on the road on Tuesday.

Every hitter in the St. Al lineup had a hit. Leading the way was Mallory McGuffee, who doubled, tripled, stole two bases and had four RBIs. Julie Mabry doubled, drove in a run and stole two bases. Avery Parman added two hits and scored a run. Perry Gillis drove in two runs and doubled.

Parham allowed just three earned runs and earned the victory.

The Lady Flashes play at West Lincoln on Thursday at 6 p.m., with the winner taking the second playoff berth out of Division 7-1A.
