Services for Willis “Bo” Jones Jr. will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hickory Tree Baptist Church in Bovina, with the Rev. Elzie O’Neal officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the family present from 5 until 6 p.m.

Mr. Jones died Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Covenant Health and Rehab. He was 84.

He attended Hickory Tree Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Jr. and Jeannette Jones; and a sister, Geraldine Larry.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Frank Jones of Vicksburg; one son, Luster Jones of Florida; four stepsons, John Jones Jr., Robert Jones and Allen Frank III, all of Vicksburg, and Sammy Jones of Las Vegas; four stepdaughters, Rosie McGill of Arkansas, Mary Henry of Texas and Coniela Jones and Earlean Jones, both of Vicksburg; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
