One residential burglary was reported in the city Friday, said police Lt. Bobby Stewart.

At 10:30 a.m., a 46-inch Sanyo TV valued at $1,100 and a Toshiba laptop computer valued at $850 were reported stolen from a home in the 1500 block of Vicklan Street.

The items were recovered a short time later in the woods nearby.
