The 174-year-old Rocky Springs United Methodist Church will host a homecoming service Sunday.

The church was closed with a final service last summer. But some traditions never end, said Jane Regan of the Friends of Rocky Springs Church.

“Before closing the church, every third Sunday of April was called homecoming,” Regan said. “This year, anyone is welcome to come and worship, and after the service there will be a dinner on the grounds.”
