Cross Point Church member Crystal Pettway is baptized Sunday in a horse trough at the Methodist community church on Porters Chapel Road. “The baptism is really a public display of an inward act,” said Pastor Robert Andrews, who is dunking Pettway. “They’re really doing it as a public testimony of what God has done in their lives.” Andrews said they usually just do a baptism with a sprinkling of water, but that they wanted to fully submerge people for this occasion.
