An employee of Burford’s Tree Inc. of Anniston, Ala., cuts bamboo away from power lines on Halls Ferry Road between Confederate Avenue and Marcus Bottom Monday afternoon. Vicksburg police shut down the two-lane street to allow the company access to the site. Work continued this morning.
