PEARL — Ethel J. Coker died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at her home in Pearl. She was 60.

Mrs. Coker was born in Yazoo County. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and Cary town clerk.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Coker Jr.; and her parents, Hess Street and Grace Toombs.

Survivors include her two sons, James A. “Bert” Coker Jr. of Starkville and Martin “Bubba” Coker of Pearl; two sisters, Nancy Huntsberry of Pearl and Vivian Steed of Brandon.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Stricklin-King Funeral Home in Yazoo City. Burial will follow at Midway Methodist Cemetery in Midway. Visitation is tonight from 5 until 7 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be David Huntsberry, Spence Street, Jamie Street, Mikey Street, Bryant Street and Hunter Street.
