Louise P. McCann passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 22, 2011. She was 84.

She was the loving wife of Fred G. McCann and mother of Charles R. Pipkin. Both were members of Vicksburg Fire Department and both preceded her in death. Louise was a dedicated employee of Mercy Regional Medical Center and also a member of Bovina Baptist Church.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Bill Pipkin of Evanston, Ill., and Sharon Pipkin of Saraland, Ala.; her daughter-in-law, Wanda Delane Pipkin of Bovina; and her great-grandchildren, Lucas W. Day and Jacob R. Day.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 25 from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at Glenwood Funeral Home.
