An emergency meeting for residents of Eagle Lake will be Friday morning at Eagle Lake Fire Department on Mississippi 465.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said he and representatives of the Vicksburg District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Warren County Emergency Management and the Warren County Volunteer Fire coordinator’s office will meet with the public at 10 a.m.

Pace said he will discuss safety, law enforcement and road accessibility, the Corps will discuss the lake’s water level and the sand boil at Buck Chute and volunteer fire coordinator Kelly Worthy will discuss fire protection.

The informal meeting is open to the public.
