Army National Guard Pvt. Chadrick E. Cooper has graduated from One Station Unit Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, Mo.
His basic military training included instruction in drill and ceremony, weapons qualification, map reading, military courtesy, physical fitness, first aid and Army traditions. His advanced individual training included the completion of a military police specialist course to acquire skills to provide combat area support and conduct battlefield circulation control. Additional training included providing peacetime support to the military community through crime prevention programs and preservation of law and order.
He is a 2008 graduate of Vicksburg High School and is the son of Arlen J. Cooper and Gary L. Cooper, both of Vicksburg.
